This segment features a fantastic book by Max Lucado, “You Were Made for This Moment: Courage for Today and Hope for Tomorrow“, that I think will be an excellent resource for the viewer to help understand our ‘God of reversals’ and help navigate the darkness of our hour.

I personally recently read this book, and it helped to reaffirm that I too have been ‘made for this moment’…so I must trust that God our Father knows what He is doing in the fact that I am living in this hour. It is a call of hope to help us all hold fast to our faith and stay true to our missions that God has individually called us to, so that we can be beacons of witness, light and hope to all as our world darkens.

This segment calls us to prepare for a time of joy, peace and hope, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord

This segment is a short one designed to help us centre in on the time of Advent as we prepare for the beautiful celebration of Christmas. This segment shares a short message, purportedly from God our Father, regarding the fact that we need to not fear but to place ourselves completely under His wing in trust!

This segment also offers a resource to journey through Advent in preparation for Christmas from a website called My Catholic Life! I hope this will be of service to you as we begin the third week of Advent, in what has been, for many, a most difficult year! God bless!

This segment features a message from our Mother, Mary, from December 1st, through the visionary Valeria Copponi. It is fitting that we share this message today, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

This message, though again a strong warning from Heaven to stay close to Jesus amidst difficult times, is a reassuring word from our Mother that our suffering is changing things in our world!

I appreciated personally her advising that our sufferings are achieving change in our world and that they are aiding in the salvation of our brothers and sisters who are far from Christ. Suffering is not an easy thing – I don’t think there is one among us that would wish for more of it!

As Mary gives this encouraging, though sobering message, and as we film and share it with you on such an important feast day in the church, I wish to again encourage and inspire all to deepen and commit more fully to their spiritual journey. And, especially, if you are not close already, I urge all to seek a deepening of their relationship with and understanding of our most beautiful, graceful mother, Mary.
