The Deliverance Ne†work

This segment is a celebration of the season of Christmas, and a call to find time to truly embrace the Christmas season in the spirit of peace, love and joy. Preparation for the Christmas season can often be quite busy and harried in our modern lives. This segment invites us to enter into recollection and a deepening of our relationship with Jesus – the Reason for the season. It also shares some inspirational words for discernment, as well as the Christmas message of the local Archbishop of Ottawa-Cornwall.

I am hopeful you have all had a most blessed Christmas day, and that the extended season of Christmas brings the joy of Christ into your hearts and your families as we prepare to close the year that was 2022, and anticipate the New Year ahead.

This short segment shares the joy of the birth of our Saviour, Jesus. May God bless you and your families as we celebrate the birth of our Lord – a celebration that is the culmination of the mystery of the incarnation:

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, as they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as people make merry when dividing spoils. For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, and the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian. For every boot that tramped in battle, every cloak rolled in blood, will be burned as fuel for flames. For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:1-5

This short segment describes the many agents of change and upheaval in our world in the present hour, and also warns of coming turbulent waters of change. However, it also brings the joyous word that the Lord is ever present and is powerfully at work with His own waters of grace.

This segment is a call to deepen our faith in Jesus, for I truly believe the time for shallow faith, or ‘sitting on the fence’ is past. It invites those who may be new in their Christian faith to anchor their decision for Jesus and dive deeper. It is especially a serious call to those who have not given thought to the spiritual life.

I also share personal indicators of how the Lord is moving mightily in my own life, with a hint of coming filming of several profound experiences of the Lord, with words of love and warning for the world.

At this time of Advent we anticipate the coming of the Lord at Christmas. Though filmed earlier this fall with thoughts to releasing this segment prior to now, it is fitting that through some technical difficulties and delays we were not able to release this segment until now. The season of Advent is particularly a time of preparation and waiting for the Lord. Prepare well now through this Advent season, and begin the journey if you are new in faith. The Lord will never disappoint.
