Jesus: “The Desire to Grow in Holiness Must be a Priority for All People”

I share the first of several messages received from the Lord in the past two weeks, with slight delay due to being away on a much needed holiday. This message was received on February 8, 2024 while at adoration, after a very difficult day the day before. In this message the Lord speaks about the gentle discipline the Father gives to help us grow in holiness, with reference to my own personal journey as example:

“Imagine the child who reveres the parent in natural life.  Then compare how the spiritual child who adores the Father is loved and protected by the adoring Father.  Discipline is part of the loving care the parent gives as part of loving attitude.

Your incident yesterday formed attitude in your heart by giving a nudge toward improved behaviour.  Your heart already loves the Father in unspeakable manner, though you struggle in patience sometimes while engaging in driving.

You prayed for help in becoming more patient and I gave a tender touch to help you in your quest for greater patience.  You immediately began to apologize for the incident and begged My complete forgiveness for your slight* transgression in patience.

The *pause I imparted just now signifies the patience needed in all areas of your life.  You have borne suffering and abuse with extreme patience for untold years.  The remarkable patience you give is a sign that you are a beloved daughter of My Father, yet you wished to continue to grow in holiness, for you desire to become a glorious holy daughter in true perfection.

The comparison you thought of just now to My perfect mother shows the level of holiness you desire.  She is the model for all children to emulate.  She was created without stain of original sin and became mother to the human race at My sacrifice upon the cross.

You are striving for perfection in every area of your life because you love Me beyond telling.  So, you immediately gave a thanks for My discipline.  I desire that each child of the Father strive in like manner to become replicas of My perfect mother.

Go.  Give this message to all the world to help others in their attempts to grow in holiness.  Stark times are imminent and the desire to grow in holiness must be a priority for all people.

Close this word now, and know you have climbed higher in holiness by accepting My gentle discipline.  Your Holy One.”

A Message from our Lord Jesus

Though it has been quite some time since we have released material here at The Deliverance Network, we have been very busy preparing for future releases! This short segment is a sharing of a ‘word’ I received from the Lord Jesus while at adoration on June 1, 2023. It is shared for your discernment, in both the video and written below:

June 1, 2023

Go today and film with Charlie and give My people a short word from My Heart. Tell them that I love them beyond all knowing, and that I am moving swiftly upon the earth now. They are to be most attentive to their prayer life and My words given in all the various apparitions around the world.

Tell them that they are to gird their loins for the time which advances. Tell them to prepare for war. You are to give them this word today, for it is My wish that the cry of Thunder is heard upon the earth.

You are My chosen ones and I am calling all to prepare for the hour of decision. It is very important that you heed the cry of the Lord, for the sky has grown dark and midnight draws near. It will be black upon the earth very soon, and the only safe place will be to shelter beneath the arms of the Lord.

Go! Give this word today to My people, for they must be prepared. That is all for now My child as you must attend to your duty. I bless you as you go proclaiming this word for the nations. Thunder has spoken. Prepare!

JESUS: “I AM IN LOVE WITH THE WORLD”

Christ the King

In this season of Advent I will be taking a break from the series on our adversary, Satan, and turning the focus directly to God and to some of the beautiful things that I have experienced over the years.  This is a time of prayerful consideration of the things of God, anticipation of Christmas and a time of hope and joy.

In this spirit I would like to share with you today words from Jesus that give us hope and consolation, in a world hurting so from sin and evil.  These words were spoken to me by Jesus in the state between wake and sleep, but there was no accompanying dream or vision:

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2007 (Feast of Christ the King)

 

My sweet and tender child of Mercy, write that I am in love with the world.”

I was not surprised that Jesus referred to me as a child of Mercy, as I had just been formally inducted into the Divine Mercy movement in Ottawa,  information about which can be found on this website.  This movement of Mercy is an outpouring of the love that Jesus has for the world, despite its sins.  To be called ‘sweet and tender’ by Jesus was also a consolation for me at that time, as these words came on the heels of some of the most hurtful words I have ever experienced from someone close to me.

It is recorded in the book, Divine Mercy in My Soul – The Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, that the image she was instructed to paint – a vision she experienced of Jesus – was an image that would impart graces to the world.  I think this is a good time to relate a personal experience I had of a moment of grace that emanated from that very image.

I am not sure exactly which summer it was, but probably 2003.  I was lying on the beach at my campground reading the Diary.  I put it aside and was lying there on my stomach on the sand, pondering the many words of Jesus contained in this church-approved book.  As I glanced at the picture of Jesus on the cover I had a sudden staggering experience of the love of God.  Although this experience is hard to describe and will probably only resonate fully with those who have experienced it themselves, I will do my best. 

While looking at the Divine Mercy image (above) I experienced the most acute, stabbing, fiery pain of love from that image to my heart that was so unbearable I couldn’t believe it!  It only lasted a moment and I was quite sure I was not going to survive it.  I think if it had lasted longer than the moment it did I would have died from the most exquisite, acute pain of love I have ever experienced in my life.  In that one moment I tasted the depth of the love that Jesus has for us.  (On this site, in a previous writing, I related an experience of seeing the heart of Jesus, which you may wish to read again). I do not think we can even bear this love without special help from Him, for I reiterate that I could not even bear the pain of that love for longer than the second or two it lasted.  This is a taste of the love that is available to us for eternity after death.  Whatever He did to me in that moment set my heart on fire with love for Him as only the grace of God can.

It is no wonder we are all so lost and broken here until we find God.  We search for this moment I experienced in many things, but are let down, time and time again.  We search in alcohol, in drugs, in shopping, in pornography, in the endless pursuit of recreation, in the pursuit of money and power, and in partners that cannot approach the perfection of God and so let us down.  We keep searching for it and so we should, but this Advent I ask one thing of you.  Start looking in the right place and truly bring Christmas into your heart.
