This segment focuses on how great our power is as a child of God, and the power of love that crushes the power of Satan. It reminds that we need to be strongly united with our Saviour, Jesus to stay in the place of safety in this hour.
It also recommends “Interior Castle” by St. Teresa of Avila – a classic that describes the growth of the spiritual journey. A masterpiece of spiritual literature, this sixteenth-century work was inspired by a mystical vision that came upon St. Teresa of Avila, one of the most gifted and beloved religious figures in history. St. Teresa’s vision was of a luminous crystal castle comprised of seven chambers, or “mansions,” each representing a different stage in the development of the soul. St. Teresa describes how, upon entering the castle through prayer and meditation, the human spirit experiences humility, detachment, suffering, and, ultimately, self-knowledge, as it moves from room to room. As the soul progresses further toward the center of the castle, it comes closer to achieving ineffable and perfect peace, and, finally, a divine communion with God.
This segment also features a message through Pedro Regis that has Mary advising us that ‘she has not come in jest’. She asks us not to stray from the path pointed out to us. She also reminds that we are very important for the plans that are unfolding in the world against darkness in our hour, and she asks us to turn from the world and accept her appeals – appeals that are for all who have ears to hear and a desire to listen and join her army.
It also highlights another message through Countdown to the Kingdom, where Mary asks us not to stay mired in sin. She urges us to turn to and stay with her son Jesus, and advises that we are in a time of sorrows where the truths of the faith will be despised. She urges that whatever happens we are to stay with the teachings of the Magisterium.
This segment is a strong motivator to individually strive for great heights of holiness while humanity heads for the abyss. To achieve this we are to persevere in prayer and seek strength in the Eucharist – not just for ourselves but for souls we will save through our prayer, service and witness.
