The Spiritual Journey
This amazing spiritual journey actually began in a very average way. I was raised in the United Church, went most Sunday’s and then, like a lot of young adults, fell away into the lure and business of the world. Circumstances brought me to the Catholic Church much later when I met my husband, Guy, who regularly attended Sunday mass. We have continued together since 1991, even though I was still ‘officially’ Protestant until completing the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) in 2001.
This journey really began to accelerate, though, with a supernatural occurrence in my parish church on December 12, 1999. This incredible moment was an absolutely pivotal turning point – one that I had published in December, 2003 and have given to many in my small circle. Please read the complete story, “My Angel Story“, published under “Visions”. It was the decisive moment I knew that God was real and that there is much more going on beyond our five senses than we can comprehend.
God began to work in my life in a huge way from this point on. I started experiencing very profound and vivid spiritual dreams. These dreams have been life-changing experiences of Mary, Jesus, God, angels and, unfortunately, Satan and demons. Quite a few of these dreams have had messages as part of their content. In the beginning, after I had consecrated myself as an Apostle of Holy Motherhood, many of these dreams were inner guidance for what became a rapidly changing inner journey. I believe even these early dreams have much to offer the reader as they highlight steps in the journey and demonstrate how God can work in your life if you but say yes. They are also a glimpse of the most profoundly beautiful things you could ever imagine…
As time went on, I also started to experience the strange phenomenon of prophetic dreams – dreams of various situations and world events that later came true. This was disconcerting at first and I did and still do the only thing one can do in this circumstance – pray. In more recent years I began to have the experience of being filled with God’s spirit during a dream and a message spoken. Many times the dream itself, with amazingly cohesive dream imagery, was the message.
Fortunately I had the immense grace of the guidance of my Spiritual Director, Father Joe Kane for ten years. It was followed by my confessor, Father Dan DuBroy. In 2015, after both priests retired, I began work with Father Francis Donnelly. I wondered early on why I was experiencing these things – what it all meant and what I was to do with them. Prior to this website, I had only shared the odd dream or experience with friends over the years to offer encouragement or witness. Honestly, though, after so many years of experiencing the spiritual realm through dreams, visions and supernatural experiences, I became so full to bursting that I found it difficult not to speak of them. I travelled almost 10 years in relative silence. It was a dream February 9, 2006, “The Time Has Come“, posted under “Spiritual Dreams”, that made me aware that I was to somehow share these things with others – that they were not meant just for me.
In the ensuing three years I followed my director’s instructions to determine the ‘who, what, when, where and how’, and they have brought me to this website. In the meantime I started experiencing dream/wake visions that were more on the vision side than dream, experiences at mass and Eucharistic Adoration and the lengthy locution of January 10, 2008. These confirmations, my director’s repeated suggestion of a website and the words “You are called to the watchtower, O Sentinel of my people” have left me with little doubt that I am where I am meant to be.
These past 20 years have been filled with many graces, crosses and purifications. It was after lengthy meetings with my parish priest, Father Tom Riopelle, that he said that as much as I have experienced to date, it may only have been the preamble for that which is to come. As God called me a sentinel in the long locution on this site, I looked up the definition. Sentinel means sentry or lookout – a soldier etc. stationed to keep guard. In another message Jesus had said to me “Watch very carefully the Sun/Son(?) we set over your twilight hours.” Twilight means a period of dwindling light before sunset and a period of decline and destruction. I think all but the most spiritually blind will acknowledge that this resembles the world at this time. It is from these two themes that the original name of this website, Twilight Sentinel, emerged. After many years journeying as a “Twilight Sentinel”, I felt the call to change this name. In prayer the name that came very clearly was “The Deliverance Network”. Looking at the site and realizing all the information now there that has evolved these past few years, I realize it truly is a network of deliverance information. It is my hope that this information and the witness of my experiences encourages you in your journey and helps you to hold fast to your faith in the days ahead.
