The Apostolate of Holy Motherhood is a book compiled by Mark I. Miravalle, S.T.D., and published by the former Riehle Foundation. It comprises approximately 121 pages of messages and visions of Jesus and Mary received by a woman who has stayed anonymous and is known only as Mariamante. I have found that this book is not known by many of the people I have mentioned it to. I mention it here because it has received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur of the Catholic Church and has had a tremendous impact in my life, and I imagine the life of many others.
This book is especially a call from Jesus and Mary for mothers to be consecrated to Mary as an Apostle of Holy Motherhood. Not only is it must-have reading for anyone searching for truth, it is a powerful apostolate which deserves as many lay members as possible. For the many mothers out there who are wondering how to grow in their faith life, I say get yourselves a copy of this book as soon as possible and ‘sign yourself up’ as I did. Hi Heather, Great question, and the book answers it. There is a page (xi) near the beginning where it lists the ‘responsibilities’. Just start doing them. Also, consecrate yourself to Mary either in your own words, or using their prayer in the back of the book. This is a silent, hidden apostolate, but there is a Facebook page and a blog one can join. So glad you are joining the movement. It is so needed!
