With all of the time and effort that my wonderful videographer, Charlie & I put into our filming projects, The Deliverance Network Channel and related documentaries, it has been some time since posting a writing.  However, I always have an open ear patiently listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and the movement of the Spirit in my dream life, and every now and then something new comes my way from the Lord that prompts me to yet again write.  Hence, this post will centre on some recent experiences of the amazing Heavenly.

It is as if, every now and then, God opens the door and gives me a little inside glimpse to the spirit world constantly at work in and around us.  And often, afterwards, a confirmation or sign will also come my way that echoes my own experience.

For those of us on the watch, signs of the times are seen all around us that point to the biblical time known as “the end times” – not the end of the world, but the end of this biblical period and a coming time of tribulation.  One well known and highly recommended book on the subject, is “The End of the Present World” by Father Charles Arminjon.  This book was one that none other than St. Therèse of Lisieux spoke rapturously about, saying, “Reading this book was one of the greatest graces of my life.”  With that level of endorsement to a work, it definitely made it to the plethora of books on my coffee table selection, but I must admit life and time have yet to provide me with the opportunity to read it.  It speaks in depth about these times; times that are otherwise known as “the end of the age”.  This topic is of course found frequently in the Bible, not the least of which is Matthew 24:21-22:

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”

And we have been given clear warnings about how we are to act as the times darken:

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not associate with them, for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light – for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true, and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.  Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:6-11

I am not a theologian, or even a significant study of Scripture, despite my years in the church, and so couldn’t begin to provide a discourse or treatise on the many theological components of our times, but rather I am called to share that which I ‘see’ and ‘hear’ and have ‘seen’ and ‘heard’ over the years, as I have striven to be faithful to God and the Spirit and all the things He has shown me.  I have simply been faithful to His command to “share that which you have been receiving” (February 9, 2006), and further confirmation of my assignment:  “You are called to the watchtower, O Sentinel of My people.” (January 10, 2008)

Having said that I must say the past few years have been quieter in the listening to Heaven department, but rather has been filled with the work of dissemination of many things experienced in the past 20 years.  So much so that my dream journal has sat almost collecting dust, faithfully beside my bed table with the volume title “January, 2014 – …(the present) on the front of the binder…with lots of room left to write and only the occasional recordings through the past few years.  In other words – a time of greater silence from Heaven, versus the previous 14 years – especially those first seven where I wrote almost every night!

As a result, when I experienced several back-to-back spiritual dreams this recent Thanksgiving weekend on two successive days, I felt perhaps there was a quickening or shift in the spiritual realm again that I was being made aware of and armed for.  I will share these dream experiences with you now, as I continue to watch and listen, all the while doing the work of evangelization, preaching and service in both my ministries, The Deliverance Network, and Sister†Hood.

Friday, October 11th & Saturday, October 12, 2019 (Thanksgiving Weekend)

(I commented in my dream journal after the dreams, my surprise at these spiritual dreams again in short succession after not having had many for a while…)

I had an amazing dream while napping this afternoon and it was brief!

I dreamed I sat or lay somewhere patiently.  I was in a state of serenity, joy, love, happiness and bliss – very docile and serene.  I then saw what appeared to be a line of angels walk in front of me as if to join my (already existing) retinue of angels/guard (God has previously shown me many times the angels he has surrounded me with and the wonderful protection they are providing me with against the forces of darkness who hate the work I am doing…).  I knew they were joining my retinue or guard for the first time – ie they had been assigned to me freshly, now, in addition to the protection I already have had for years.  I saw perhaps four or so (couldn’t say exactly how many – I simply saw the line up of them as they approached and stopped in front of me).  They all wore simple, straight, open, airy, white robes – unadorned.  For some reason it was the last one in the line that really caught my attention or focus in the dream, though.  As she(?) looked at me (and I cannot describe adequately the look of that angel(!) – it was one of such simple innocent obedience to the Father – utterly, preciously guileless, simple, trusting, obedient, faithful and dutiful…) I could sense that she(?) was a more simple (younger?…the innocence associated with youth rather than age), innocent childlike angel.  She looked at me with incredulity as she approached and stopped directly in front of me as ordered/assigned by God, and she could sense/know my incredible, immense, immense, immense and profound love for God, Jesus and all things Heaven!  As I sensed back and knew what she(?) was thinking and feeling as she came upon me thus, I looked back at her with docile, sweet joy, but such profound love & ardour that I have for God, as it spilled out of me, and I said to her, simply:

Do you not know my heart?!” (like a redundant question/statement with a simple, gentle bemused loving smile)…

In essence I knew she was one of several angels assigned to me now that had not ‘known’ me or been involved directly with me until now, as her gaze gave me the knowledge of her fresh assignment to me and incredulity at the love for God she found coming from me.  I woke up a little surprised at the dream, but then started to ponder the fresh assignment of angels and that it might mean an increased need for protection given some of the ‘darker’ difficult spiritual warfare work I engage in for God…but several days later I pondered anew the purpose of those angels I’d seen in the dream, and the following, coincidentally(?) timed message from God through another messenger (for your discernment) in a ministry I follow, Holy Love (www.holylove.org):

Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says: “Children, in your area of the world the harvest is past. You are now preparing for the winter season. Spiritually, the harvesting angels are just now preparing to separate the just from the unjust souls (underline my emphasis).This is the season in time when your choices spiritually are most important. Your spiritual decisions determine all areas of your life – most especially where you will spend your eternity, but also the leadership you choose to follow. Satan is in the midst of every political decision, for this is the way he can control the future of the world.”

“Do not succumb to error in your choices. Carefully consider the consequences of your decisions. Whether or not a potential leader supports abortion is a way to choose. The general public does not decide according to who supports My Commandments, but according to the rhetoric of the day. When the angels separate the good from the bad, they will not be tricked by any compromise of the Truth. Since man is blind as to the date of these happenings, prepare as though you are on the brink of your judgment and you will always be ready.” Message of October 25, 2019 from God to visionary Maureen Sweeney-Kyle

And now I share the other two dreams with you, which to me, suggest coming times that I have been calling all to prepare for, for some time now – a time of sorrow, and if my dreams portray spiritual reality – a time of the Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus & Mary.  Not a time for us to fear – let me be clear – but a time for us to stand firm, in secure trust in God for all our needs, and in every effort to be prepared spiritually for anything, by standing in healthy righteousness, clear conscience, faith and love with our God:

First dream early morning of October 12, 2019

I had a dream of attempting to secure off a large room in a house to keep out snapping, ferocious dogs, who were now starting to surround me and the few I sat with in the room (the Remnant?).  It was as though the room was all half windows and I could see the dogs approaching at each one of the windows all around the front and left side of this room.  The right side of the room had a wall with one simple door that had to be closed off from the adjoining room to secure that side, but I believe I was calling people to come in from that side too before the door had to be closed.  The wall at our backs was secure – it was solid wall behind me.  But it was a flank of attack from the front and left side where I saw dogs coming to each window.  I started to do new work to warn of the danger, call people to safety and close the gaps and windows and instruct others of the danger I saw coming.  It was difficult, as there were windows wide open and areas of the walls had gaps where solid wall should have been (reminds me of a recent dream sharing of us Knights in the King’s castle and how we have to defend our faith and guard the walls with our bastion).  It seemed I and others were going to have to do much work to secure this room for ourselves…

Second dream of October 12, 2019

I dreamed I was walking on a road – Richmond? – near Westboro (an area of Ottawa).  Then I knew I was being called by God to go somewhere (new).  I walked straight down the road at this call, while strategizing the quickest route to my assigned destination – a building somewhere that involved me walking up Woodroffe to Baseline – geographically it would be where one of our Catholic churches is situated in Ottawa in real life, but in the dream I only knew I was being called to a building.  I entered the assigned building and the dream changed.

I went to the highest floor of the building as I knew that was where I was to go.  I went up to speak to the people there and again there were all windows along the front of this room, but they were floor to ceiling windows fully closed/sealed.  I could see that it was now dark, as if twilight had just passed.  I spoke to one person in one room/office to the right, thinking my work was there, but it was not, so I turned around wondering and another room was indicated to me to knock at.  As we spoke I said something about fresh air, so two ladies, I believe, smashed open two windows even though we were on a high floor, and I worried that might be a dangerous thing to do given the height…However, I turned and started talking with another woman who had answered the second door I had knocked at.  There was a table in the open room next to the windows and the woman brought me over to it and she sat while I stood.  She pulled out a card like a prayer card with images, but in the shape of an index card.  On the front of this card there were two images – of Jesus and Mary and their sorrowful hearts exposed – it was a card indicating the time of “The Two Sorrowful Hearts”.  (Jesus was first, on the left, with Mary’s image beside Him on the right).

I recognized it instantly for what it was and I began to cry in profound sorrow.  I said “Do you know what this is and what this means?”.  The woman, who I then knew was part of the United Church (not Catholic), did not because it was a very “Catholic” symbol and knowledge, and they did not know its theological meaning from their Christian faith perspective (my words to describe what I felt and saw in the dream – no condemnation or evaluation of other Christian denominations intended in the slightest(!)).  I said “It’s the image and time of “The Two Sorrowful Hearts of Jesus & Mary”, and I started to pull out documentation from places to show them the biblical history of this and indicate to them the sign that this was.  Oh, how sorrowful I felt, saying, “Do you know what this means?!!!” (I reiterated…), and I sobbed profusely as I explained, because this was a very sorrowful, profound, deeply Biblical, serious time that we were entering into, and I felt Catholics had/would have? the most knowledge to help their Christian brothers and sisters.

Oh, how profoundly saddened I was as I explained this image to her.  I was then told I would be called to do work related to this now, and somehow it involved me going to Toronto…I was going to be on the move somehow…but of the details I knew not…

I woke up and, needless to say, pondered and continue to ponder the meaning of these several dreams, literally all dreamed in little over the space of 24 hours, after a seeming dry period.  But I continue to trust that God will open up and provide for whatever is needed for us with His Spirit, His angels, His Providence and His guidance.  And I trust He will do the same for all who are labouring in the field for Him in this hour.  We must all continue to trust, pray and work, but I would be remiss if I didn’t exhort and say to all to hasten to ensure they are in good standing with God in this hour as well.  Not only is it the best spiritual preparation for the times, but it is essential to spiritual warfare and strong evangelization.  The healthy minister most powerfully to the sick, and the clear eye to the darkened.  And I don’t know about you, but from where I sit on the watchtower, I feel the lens of this world has become so spiritually sullied that many are walking virtually spiritually blind, and in serious sin, with the dark forces and snapping dogs encroaching on all sides.  It is not a time to grow weary, indifferent or complacent.  It is a time to stand firm in righteousness and obedience to God, the Church and His commandments.  And as we do, we stand alongside angels ready to assist, protect and guide – all under the will of our God and on the side I pray so fervently that all would choose:  The side of Love.

And so, coming this December, with the start of Advent, I will be calling all (and you who are reading are getting a sneak peak) to join The Deliverance Network & Sister†Hood in our Rosary Challenge – a call to all to pray at least five decades of the Rosary daily, as this is a spiritual weapon par excellence so needed in this dark hour.  I will be posting all the details of how to sign up for the Challenge this December, so that we are united in our prayer efforts and networking in heeding the call of the Spirit in this hour.  It is prayer, faith and unity which brings strength in this battle, and obedience to the tenets of our faith and our God that makes us victorious – not only for ourselves, but for all the souls who do not know or love God, and so are in varying levels of spiritual danger in very serious, important spiritual times.

I leave you with the exhortation that it is not too late to make a difference in this world.  On the contrary;  it is time to pick up your sword afresh and not put it down until the good fight has been fought and won – for yourself and every soul you help bring to Heaven.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having fastened the belt of Truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the Evil .One. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Month of Holy Souls & The King’s Castle

My young reporter friend, Charlie, & I have been busily working on an All Hallow’s Eve Special for our Deliverance Network Channel viewers this past month.  In the filming process I had to decide which spiritual experiences to pull from my many to feature for our ‘All Hallow’s Eve’ Special, Part I of which aired this Hallowe’en season.  As the modern celebration tends to highlight the ghosts, ghouls, goblins & witches, in contrast to its origin of highlighting and honouring Catholic saints, I decided to make our All Hallow’s Eve special a mini-exposé of the truth of that dark side.

Perhaps one of the reasons we caricature these images of evil is due to our fear of the hidden truth they represent.  Believe me, I get it.  I was one who never wanted to entertain thoughts that this kind of legitimate evil could be truth – way too scary.  It was much simpler, and definitely more comfortable to believe that evil was a caricature. A concept. But definitely not an objective truth.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, time, wisdom and experience has shown me otherwise.  Essentially, God has shown me otherwise.  But let’s face it.  The world shows us this truth every single day.  Goodness exists alongside horror.  Evil exists alongside philanthropy.  Love and hate play out every day in the human drama of life.  Our call and our challenge is to choose to love instead of hate; to be generous instead of selfish; to live in truth instead of lies; to love God Who is love, rather than the darkness of sin.

A big part of the challenge in our very secular day, though, is the problem that a large part of our human drama is played out in an unseen realm – the realm of spirit.  For 18 years I have wondered why God has given me the experiences He has, but as my journey unfolds, I see that I have been given glimpses of ‘unseen’ and ‘behind the scenes’ truth in order to help people recognize truth in what is seen, and what is playing out in the world, in our daily lives, on our websites and in our news stories.  The truth, as I have seen it, and as our churches, priests, pastors & Bible teach us, is that our surface level ‘seen’ drama isn’t the end of the story.  It isn’t our whole ‘truth’.  Our real truth encompasses a hidden war between the forces of evil and good – a war where we are helped every day by the forces of good, but also a war where we are faced with attempts to thwart us from forces of evil.  This writing and our All Hallow’s Eve Special is a little attempt to shine some light on the ‘unseen’ forces behind our surface truth.

In filming and writing I noticed a chronological convergence of theme from my ‘little black book’ of spiritual dreams and experiences (nothing little about it actually) with a couple that highlighted these good and evil forces and the ‘underlying’ story for us who are in the ‘King’s’ camp.  The themes centred on the ‘King’s Castle’ – the camp of the soldiers of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the collective ‘church’.  While I am a member of the Catholic Church, and personally believe the ultimate fulfillment of the Christian faith is to be found within her walls, despite her foibles, I believe that all of us who have chosen Christ are indeed on the ‘right’ side, and collectively should be, and hopefully are working from where they are to direct the course of our world – and indeed help direct the course of souls, including our own path to salvation.  I am the first to admit that times are challenging for those of us who are in the Catholic faith, as ‘deeds of evil’ are being exposed at this very hour.  I won’t do anything to address this unfortunate time and circumstance, except to point out that as human beings, we are all capable of evil.  And in fact, as a vehicle intended for God’s very great good, the collective ‘church’ and its members are a prime point of attack for Satan – so no surprise really to hear of great evil emerging.  A strategic battle plan is often to attempt to undermine from within…

Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says: “Children, be aware that everything you do to gain your own salvation or the salvation of others is countered by Satan in some way – many times it is discouragement. Your journey towards My Kingdom is never easy, nor does it go unnoticed by the powers of evil. Satan’s greatest weapon is to be unrecognized. I’m telling you these things so you will be aware of his attacks.”

“He most often comes clothed in goodness. Therefore, you must think through where every plan of action leads you. Pay attention to the people you are dealing with. Always pursue the Truth. Do not be naive as to who Satan will use. Title in the Church or the world does not represent a barrier to evil. The souls with the most influence over others are Satan’s prime targets. Pray for them. Pray always to recognize any inroad evil is making in your life. Avoid circumstances you are uncertain about as to their goal or consequences in the long run.“

However, undermine though he may, victory is not to be his.  The Bible teaches us this, and I have seen it.

And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:17-19

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We must live this victory!  We must live it in our own personal battles against the unseen forces of evil and in our individual choices in this world.  And so I share the following personal experiences to help bolster the troops.  Do NOT be discouraged in your fight.  Your small ‘yes’ from your own small corner of the world has more impact than you could ever imagine!‘  Do NOT stop the good fight!  Keep praying.  Keep believing.  Keep hoping.  Keep attending to your church and your faith, and know that you fight on the right side and that evil will never prevail against you, despite the heat of battle that you might be feeling at this present moment.  You are a very, very important soldier in this battle.  Every single one of you!  Just keep putting one foot in front of the other in that which God calls you to in your daily duty, carving out every opportunity for prayer and good works, and time and God will do the rest.  I am ever encouraged by a small saying from Margaret Mead, that I have used occasionally in work with my women’s group –

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

And change the world we continue to do – even if it is unseen from our perspective.  The very difficult thing of discernment is an ever present challenge in our topsy-turvy days.  Our challenge is to stay true to the teaching of the church and the Commandments, and worry most about what God thinks – not man.  This discernment involves being careful about the things we, as Christians, allow into our lives, hearts and homes, and includes avoidance of sin, occult practices and the ‘New Age’.  With Christ nothing is new.  He has revealed it all plainly for us in His person, as has our Father in the bible and the story of Salvation history and the teachings of the church.  We are to follow Him.  We are also to follow his warnings to discern the times and test the spirits, and this is a real challenge for the times He has called each of us to live in:

Dreamed I was an undercover operative in a major battle.  It had to do with the King and a plot against his life.  Those of us who were good and were on the King’s side were noticing that our memories weren’t quite as good.  One older man/soldier came up to me in the King’s Castle and said he couldn’t remember things so well.  There was a short scene just prior to this of a Tarot card reading taking place in a small room in the castle (ie New Age practices being dabbled in by some of us Christian soldiers in the King’s Camp).

Another of the soldiers in the battle, who sat to my left, said he knew how the evil people were doing it – affecting us who were truly in the King’s service.   I saw this plate of food being prepared for us, and a soldier to my left said it was the meals we would eat/be fed/are eating as part of the King’s knights/soldiers.  He referred to what the evil ‘disguised as good’ people were doing as “Lucky Number Slevin (a 2006 movie).

After he told me this information, I realized – OH MY GOD! – we are being very,very, very slowly and subtly poisoned through what we choose to consume as his knights through food offered (the world offers us so much that is not healthy…), and are perhaps being ‘fed’ by those who appear good, but are secretly on the side of evil.  I realized the horror of this and that hidden evil worked against us in this very covert way.  I left the area to go warn the others in my camp.

I went to tell someone in particular who I knew I could trust, but as I did, I was overheard by a woman character in the dream that I thought I could trust (in the dream she was the character of an oriental lady whose name was Sharon). However, I realized she was a spy and was spying on us in this King’s camp/side/battle/castle.

She ran to tell the leader of the evil side that I had discovered this poisoning circumstance and then every effort was made to try and stop me from delivering my message.  I was speaking to my Father at some point here.

I ran to my camp to tell them what I had ‘seen’/discovered and as I came into my castle/camp of the King, it changed to the house of my Maternal Grandmother’s home.  I saw the good knights/servants of the King in the dining room – we were advancing/preparing for battle against the enemy coming against us – Russians – who were in the living room.  Just as the clash was going to occur in the open meeting area between the dining and living room, I managed to stop the battle.  With my voice/witness, I somehow enabled both sides to sit down and listen to me and what I knew. (I have to pause here and say while I would love to completely stop the battle between good & evil between souls & countries, I think this refers to the battle for souls and that perhaps my witness can be an aid to help souls choose the right side of the battle – Russian souls or otherwise!)

We ended up sitting in a circle of chairs/couches etc. in the living area;  the Russians mostly to my right; the King’s camp to my left and I began to exhort them to peace and to recognize the truth that was this:  I said:

Our enemy is not each other!  We battle against forces unseen!  They are hideous and they are very strong!  It is against them in which we must unite!  Our fight is against them – not each other!!!”

Then I told the room of Satan and his demons that I have seen in my dreams, and I asked those in the room – particularly the Russians:

Have you not, even one of you, also seen these evil unseen demons that I speak of and know I speak the truth?!”

Then a young man on the Russian side, who said he was a video game designer of “Cosmos”, said he had seen one of the demons coming up a hillside and all of a sudden it revealed its face to him and it was a face of fire and lava.

Then I told him of the creatures I have seen in my dreams – evil demons like giant monsters with scaly skin like lizards and a gigantic set of jaws sharper and stronger than sharks that gnash and clamp with great sharpness and strength, their victims.

Then it occurred to me to invoke the protection of the Precious Blood of Jesus over us all – Russians included, in order to protect us from the evil agents of the real battle – Satan & his demons.  I began to do this as I saw a demon or demons in the air just outside the door of the living room at the front of the house – a door created somehow.  As I started to say this invocation, however, in prayer God’s spirit came on me and in me and filled me in a most overpowering way and levitated me again.  I spoke God’s word levitated thus – very loudly and powerfully – in front of all gathered, including the Russians, but I don’t remember what I spoke (perhaps it was the description of this dream…)

Then to my left I saw a lady stand up as a witness.  She stood in this circle of people and was one in the King’s camp of people.  She related such a heartfelt story of truth and love!  I forget details, but it had to do with someone she loved dying of cancer and being saved/redeemed.  Her story was quite compelling.  I turned to my right and saw a young, bearded Russian that I thought still wasn’t softening his heart at her witness and I started to exhort again that he take the girls’ witness very seriously and then I saw him start to cry and he said he had already listened to her and taken her seriously and said “she has softened my heart.”

And then I think it was his character in the dream who said he’d had his own vision and I saw it as he described it (or it may have been mine as this third party negotiator/mitigator – unsure).  Regardless, the scene shown next was this:

In advance I saw the head evil agent/man of Satan who was the Chief/Head on this evil side.  I saw him come up against the King’s camp/castle to try to fulfill the intended evil plan to kill the King and his followers, but his plan did not succeed.  He was seen coming and as he tried to ascend the walls of the fortress (castle), particularly at the bastion window, he was pushed back – out a window – by the King’s army and he fell to his death on the ground far below and his dead body was seen in advance in this vision and it was broken in a most disfiguring way.  He looked like the actor Jeff Bridges for some reason.  He lay on his back as I looked down on him.  Both his legs were broken and twisted at very unnatural angles and he lay in blood, brokenness and death and most of all – defeat!!!

As this ‘advance’ vision was being related in the dream, I was witnessing it as a third party and watched the scene unfold myself first hand.  Then as I lay looking at the dead body of the head of the evil side a very strange thing happened and this was the most disconcerting moment of the entire dream:

I then saw the body lying in a doorway.  As I looked at his dead body lying thus, all of a sudden the dead body sat up and looked straight at me and Satan in the body said to me directly, looking right at me, speaking in the most sarcastic, sneering and derisive tone (verbatim):

You saw it all before it happened, didn’t you?!”

(I emphasize the ‘you’ and ‘didn’t you’ because these words in particular, spoken by Satan, were said in a particularly sneering, slow emphasized way!)

I awoke with a most disconcerted, alarmed start and recorded the above dream immediately.

I had a long, very detailed dream of a large castle, royalty, Prince, Mother of the Prince and evil in the King’s Castle.  I saw the true heir to the King’s fortune was attempted to be thwarted from his royal heritage by evil perpetrators in the castle.

It was with great difficulty that the true heir/prince would go through trial to achieve triumph in the end.  He had a mother – not living on the earth – deceased, but living (of course this is our Mother, Mary…) that was aiding the true heir in achieving his destiny.

She had left the true heir to the King’s Castle a key.  It was kept locked and hidden in a very large (so large that it sat on the floor), special, jewelled ornate box – like a music box.  It was very large, and circular.  It had a large, large base, and smaller and smaller circular layers as you went upward, with a tiny special hidden circular compartment at the top.  The top circular compartment had some special mechanism that only the true heir could open with the touch of his finger.

I then saw a mini drama of quite horrific detail play out as the heroic true heir fought valiantly amidst the evil that attempted to thwart him at every turn.  I saw the heir navigate very arduous and difficult circumstances as he struggled in the King’s Castle to reach his place safely as the King’s true son in his castle.  I then saw an evil prince appear that appeared to be good.  In fact, everyone thought he was the King’s son – he so appeared like him in appearance and one could not easily tell he was not.

However, he was discerned as being an imposter because he had killed a woman…there was also some reference here to a witch that he had previously been allied to – as if to be his wife.  The false prince desperately tried to conceal this nature and his crimes.

As this truth was exposed, the true heir/prince made a valiant leap toward the box that the mother somehow guided him to.  As he pressed his finger on the secret mechanism, it sprang open to reveal a key that was left waiting for him for much time by the mother – for the day when he would need it.  She had left it for him (in this jewelled ornate music box – at the very top in the circular hidden compartment) before she had died – this box with the secret hidden key was in the castle.  This key would help him claim his rightful place as the King’s son, and conquer the evil around him.  This key would be ESSENTIAL!

Just as I saw this and the hero heir took the key, I became in the dream, instead of an observer of all this.  I cried up to heaven and said:  “FATHER!!! (with my hands upturned and raised in the air toward heaven).  USE ME IN WHATEVER WAY YOU WISH!!!”  As I said this, God’s spirit took possession of me in a most heady, powerful way, and He levitated me and lay me back horizontal and elevated high in the room and moved me forward.  Then God spoke through me.  He said:

In times of great difficulty, We speak in (use*) Hieroglyphics.”

I then awoke in awe of the trembling…the great feeling of His power entering me created…quite heady and a little overwhelming (and I recorded this dream on whatever paper I could find…)

*N.B.  *Speak in/use were almost the same meaning/interchangeable in the sentence.  Both were inferred…hard to explain.  I felt/heard both at the same time.

I must admit I know next to nothing about hieroglyphics and have only had a cursory glance at what the internet has to say about them.  So I leave it to others far more knowledgeable than I to discover if the pictographs of this dream experience of God render truth for a time when it is needed.

From a basic understanding of the symbols it doesn’t seem hard to see Mary as the Mother, the true heir as God’s children – us royal Christian Princes and Princesses who are true children of our Father, the King – the Castle as the ‘church’, evil as evil; the evil prince as the ‘deceiver who is to come’.  This dream portrays a time of great, great difficulty for Christians if I look at its surface message – a time that has been spoken about quite a great deal during our times.

But we are not to worry – rather we are to keep walking the narrow walk of faith following our Saviour as best we can, trying to avoid the pitfalls all around us.  It is my prayer that our Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, imbues each of us as we journey through the difficult times personally and collectively, knowing that our true home is in Heaven, and that once we are there the journey will have been worth every step.  Blessings!

Divine Mercy

Almost everyone in the church has now heard about the Divine Mercy movement and revelations to a young uneducated nun, Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, who was in a convent called the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Poland during the 1930s.

Saint Faustina experienced revelations and messages from Jesus that speak directly to our times, and they were published from her writings in the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska.  The Diary holds significant warnings for the hour mankind finds itself in:

Secretary of My mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice is near. (Diary Entry 965).

and

Write down these words, my daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy … (Diary Entry 848).

Her many messages echo several of my own experiences of Jesus, accompanied by urgent exhortation messages for us to repent and amend our lives.  Messages such as:

TELL SOULS TO HAVE RECOURSE TO MY MERCY WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME FOR MERCY. I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE MINE.” (Jesus to me – March 6, 2005)

and

My sweet and tender child of Mercy, write that I am in love with the world.” (Jesus – November 25, 2007) and REPENT!!! JUDGEMENT IS AT YOUR DOOR!!!” (Urgent, urgent, urgent narrated message from Jesus – June 12, 2008)

Jesus made clear the times we are now in when he said to St. Faustina:

Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart. I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so; My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice. Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy” (Diary Entry 1588)

Dr. Robert Stackpole, STD, Director of the John Paul II Institute of Divine Mercy, based in Stockbridge Massachusetts, speaks here about the spread of the Divine Mercy message throughout the world, and its implications for our times; the spread of the gospel and the message of Divine Mercy that precedes the Second Coming of Jesus.

The use of technology and global communications in our time has done much to bring about the worldwide preaching of the gospel and the message of God’s unfathomable mercy.  However, certain areas of the world, such as China, remain difficult areas to evangelize. Jesus in Matthew 24 had much to say about the preaching of the gospel message to the whole world and the signs of the times:

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times
24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[e] is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (New International Version)

In these verses Jesus refers to events that must come as the beginnings of birth pains.  It is as though the entire creation is groaning in the birthing of the sons and daughters of our Father, and until that time as the birthing process is complete, we all continue to labour – for the Kingdom – and for growth in ourselves in holiness.

A dream experience I had in January, 2010 illustrates both the joy and pain of the ‘birthing process’ as it relates to Divine Mercy, and I wonder at its symbolism regarding our Eastern brothers and sisters:

 I had a dream where I was in a large building.  I walked past a room where I heard sounds of what I thought was crying and lamenting.  The door was closed as I walked past it the first time, so I could not tell for sure what was occurring, but I knew it was a large labour room. 

I continued walking to the area I was supposed to be in, and found myself sitting in a chair with one of my Divine Mercy cenacle friends – her name was Collette (which means “Victorious People”).  We sat in something like meeting room chairs – waiting for something.

All of a sudden there was much excitement and activity.  Collette ran off in the direction of it.  I too began to get up and go find out what was occurring.

All of a sudden I realized I was in the Divine Mercy Centre in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.  I came into an adjoining room and realized there was much hoopla because the nuns of the Centre were on the move – marching in a procession to somewhere – as if for a special ceremony or Mass, and they were all dressed head to toe completely in white – not one speck of colour – full white habits.

I knew this first before seeing it because as I came into the room I saw Pope John Paul II.  He was at another entrance or doorway to this room I had come into and he stood completely opposite to me at opposite entrances to the same room.  I looked straight at him and he at me, but he did not speak.  His expression was neither joyful nor sorrowful, as I remembered it.  If I had to label it I would say it appeared ‘matter of fact’ – steady, even, plain and matter of fact.

Then I went outside, to the right, and saw the massive chapel of Stockbridge and saw the nuns then all processing outdoors in a courtyard or something – wearing their white robes for some special occasion – going I know not where, but getting ready for a big event.  Then I realized there were people – like people visiting on a pilgrimage – everywhere there!

I marvelled at how teeming this place was – the interest and excitement at whatever special thing was taking place there.

As I walked back to join the crowds and the procession, etc., I passed the same large birthing room I had passed with the closed door the first time.  This time the door was open and I saw and knew what the cries and lamenting were all about.  I saw an oriental mother had given birth to twins.  It had been a difficult birth, but I saw her standing and being supported by another lady – perhaps her mother, and I saw the twins on a delivery table of sorts.  The doctor was working on them and they appeared joined somehow, but alive.  I was relieved to know all the noise and pain was to give rise to this and not a stillbirth, as I had feared.  I then went outside to join the nuns, crowd & procession.

Upon awakening it did not surprise me to see that the image of JPII was in this dream about Divine Mercy, as the Centre in Stockbridge writes about his personal passion for the writings of St. Faustina, the inception of the movement, and the installation of the second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday in the church:

Pope John Paul II, both in his teaching and personal life, strove to live and teach the message of Divine Mercy. As the great Mercy Pope, he wrote an encyclical on Divine Mercy:

“The Message of Divine Mercy has always been near and dear to me… which I took with me to the See of Peter and which it in a sense forms the image of this Pontificate.”

In his writings and homilies, he has described Divine Mercy as the answer to the world’s problems and the message of the third millennium. He beatified and canonized Sr. Maria Faustina Kowalska, the nun associated with the message, and he did it in Rome and not in Poland to underscore that Divine Mercy is for the whole world.

Establishing Divine Mercy Sunday for the Entire Church
When Pope John Paul canonized Sr. Faustina (making her St. Faustina), he also, on the same day, surprised the entire world by establishing Divine Mercy Sunday (the feast day associated with the message) as a feast day for the entire Church. The feast day falls on the Second Sunday of the Easter season. On that day, Pope John Paul II declared, “This is the happiest day of my life.”

Entrusting the World to Divine Mercy
In 2002, the Pope entrusted the whole world to Divine Mercy when he consecrated the International Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki, a suburb of Krakow in Poland. This is where St. Faustina’s mortal remains are entombed. The saint lived in a convent nearby. The Pope himself remembers as a young man working in the Solvay Quarry, just a few meters from the present-day Shrine. He also says that he had been thinking about Sr. Faustina for a long time when he wrote his encyclical on Divine Mercy. Further, the Holy Father has frequently quoted from the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska and has prayed The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy at the saint’s tomb.

Beyond the Life of John Paul II
Given all these connections to Divine Mercy and St. Faustina, is it any wonder that Pope John Paul II died on the Vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday (the evening before the feast day), which fell that year on April 3?. It is also no surprise that the Great Mercy Pope left us a message for Divine Mercy Sunday, which was read on the feast day by a Vatican official to the faithful in St. Peter’s after a Mass that had been celebrated for the repose of the soul of the Pope.

Repeatedly Pope John Paul II has written and spoken about the need for us to turn to the mercy of God as the answer to the specific problems of our times. He has placed a strong and significant focus on the Divine Mercy message and devotion throughout his pontificate that will carry the Church long after his death. “(www.thedivinemercy.org)

The movement of Divine Mercy was clearly a calling very close to the heart of our former Pontiff.  It is also a call that is close to my heart, though I have a feeling part of my overall ministry is to prepare the world for the future time of God’s justice as well.  This calling was the reason I joined a local Divine Mercy Cenacle, and continue to labour for the Kingdom with the work that Jesus has given me to do.
